1. Privacy Statement
Your privacy is important to us and we want you to feel comfortable visiting our site. The protection of your privacy in the processing of your personal data is an important concern to which we pay special attention during our business processes. Personal data collected during visits to our web site are processed by us according to the legal provisions valid for the countries in which the web sites are maintained.

2. Collection and processing of personal data
When you visit our website, our web server automatically records your IP address, the website from which you visit us, the web pages you actually visit and the date and length of your visit. Direct Personal data is only stored upon your consent, for example in the context of a registration, a survey, a competition, etc.
You do not have to give us any direct personal information in order to perform job searches. Nevertheless, to apply or register, we need your personal data to be able to create an account and accept an application.
Depending on the status of your application on the Airbus External Recruitment Website, it is required that you provide personal data as described in Airbus privacy information notice.
We strongly suggest that your CV should not contain data relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political beliefs, philosophical or religious beliefs, membership of a trade union or political party, physical or mental health, sexual life or the commission of criminal offences or proceedings. We also remind you that your CV should not contain any sensitive or military information.
If your CV does contain such data, then you agree that we may retain this information as it is in your CV however we will not take them into account as part of the recruitment process.

3. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data and Purpose Specification
Upon your application, you agree that we can use your contact information in order to send you email or other communications regarding updates on the website, such as new opportunities and additional listings which may be of interest to you. You can opt out of this service at any time by following the process described in section 6. Deleting Your Information.

4. Disclosure of information to others outside of Airbus
We may disclose your information if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a governmental entity or regulatory authority, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to:  conform to legal requirements or comply with legal processes;  prevent a crime; protect national security; protect the personal safety of other users or the public.

5. Candidate profile
If you register your candidate profile in the Airbus External Recruitment Website, then all parties involved in recruitment with access to the search function in the candidate database will have access to your profile.
Airbus is committed to limiting the access to the searchable candidate database only to Airbus employees or authorised third parties involved in recruitment activities.

6. Deleting your information
If you wish to delete your information on the Airbus External Recruitment Website, you can do so on your profile settings in your candidate account at any time.
If you request for your details to be deleted, we will ensure that your candidate account and any related job applications will be deleted within 2 weeks. If you apply to a new job during this time, we will put your deletion request on hold whilst your application is active.

If you wish to revoke your consent to this Privacy Statement, please contact us at erecruiting@airbus.com. However, please note that if you do withdraw your consent, you may not be able to use the relevant services and your account profile information will be deleted.

7. Technical indirect Personal Data collected automatically
When you access our Web sites, we may automatically (i.e., not by registration) collect indirect technical personal data (e.g. type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the Web site from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed). We may use this data in aggregated format for statistical purposes and share it within Airbus companies and affiliates to monitor the attractiveness of our Websites and improve their performance or content.

8. Security
Airbus uses all technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the data we have under our control against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorised persons. Our security procedures are continually enhanced as new technology becomes available.

9. Children
Airbus does not knowingly collect personal data from children without insisting that they seek prior parental consent if required by applicable law. We will only use or disclose personal data about a child to the extent permitted by law, to seek parental consent pursuant to local law and regulations or to protect a child. The definition of "child" or "children" should take into account applicable laws as well as national and regional cultural customs.
